Testing Posterous

Trying posterous.com to deal with all the blogs and sites I have to handle.  If this works well, I should be doing a lot more posting.

MLD Architects' reponse to the open letter

Dear Terry:

I have asked the employees of MLD Architects by way of this email to please ignore any negative correspondence or phone calls from you regarding myself or any other activities of this firm. My employees time is valuable and it is neither cost effective nor a healthy morale issue when their work is interrupted with your unnecessary emails and phone calls.

In the future please direct any requests or threats directly to my email address only - randy@mldarchitects.com . I will forward them to any appropriate person or persons who need to be aware of your employment and termination status.

Thank you in advance. I hope this email finds you doing well.

I assume, after several attempts to get you to respond, you refuse to pay me for the 50 hours of work / paid vacation that MLD owes me. I do not know when during my 2 weeks of vacation that you decided to fire me but you had every opportunity to email me, text me, call me, etc. You deciding to fire me and not informing me while considering whatever date you wish is my termination date is not acceptable. I returned on Thursday, January 5th ready to get back to work. You never gave me any notice that my job was jeopardized. After 19 years of faithful service, most companies celebrate a retirement, even a forced retirement, with a thank you for their service. If my job was going to be phased out, a responsible firm would give their staff several weeks or even months to prepare for the change. You told me to give you the key and for me to get off your property. My termination date was January 5th. This firm owes me for the time that I worked and it is shameful that I have to demand what is owed to me. I do not want to take this to small claims court but will if MLD continues to refuse to address this issue.

MLD Architects no more

Dear Friends, Unfortunately, after 19 years of faithful service, my employer, MLD Architects has decided to outsource my position as IT Manager /AutoCad Manager / Production Manager effective immediately. Half of my life has been devoted to MLD Architects and it is a real disappointment that it has come to an end so abruptly.

After many hours, my son's Halloween costume is finally finished.  Most detailed and complicated costume to date.  Store bought costumes are taboo in our house.  Total out of pocket = $50.
